Technical Manager
Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description ChromaScape is seeking a highly motivated Technical Manager will support the sales and production teams with dispersion and wet milling process guidance, analysis, and new process development.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk, read, communicate with others and hear, use a computer and use lab equipment.

Responsibilities for the Technical Manager position:
Develop dispersion & milling process parameters and specifications through testing of customer-supplied formulations.
Liaison with customer personnel to communicate test results and process data per NDA and contract requirements.
Provide direction and guidance to the Pilot Lab team.
Schedule lab testing based on customer requirements and lab capacity.
Evaluate new tolling opportunities for process feasibility and determine testing requirements.
Generate process and costing data for tolling RFQs.
Support new equipment sales by determining customer requirements for machine size and technical specifications.
Provide technical support to milling department as needed.
Qualifications for the Technical Manager position:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Chemical engineering or related discipline required.
4-5 years in wet milling production or chemical processing experience preferred.
Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate employees and communicate objectives and action plans.
Must be willing to travel occasionally.
Ability to establish positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Competent / comfortable with use of information technology Proficient with MS Office tools for the purpose of writing reports, communication by email, and analyzing statistics.
Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations in a Batch Manufacturing Process a plus.
